Sygnite Tokyo licensed Toshiro Mifune’s likeness with private photos, and was also responsible for securing the rights to the Japanese drama, “Koya no Suronin”, for use in a tribute film to celebrate Suntory’s 100th anniversary of whisky craftmanship.

The Suntory Whisky Anniversary Tribute tells the remarkable story of the brand’s heritage and whisky-making legacy over the last 100 years. The short film was directed by Sofia Coppola and is comprised of Suntory’s past advertisements, as well as numerous images / footages that represent Japan and Suntory’s whisky making.
